2WD Long Range goes the furthest

The precise range of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 has been determined. The version with the longest driving range according to the WLTP cycle will cover 614 km with a full battery.
At the beginning of last summer, Hyundai presented its perhaps most important model in years: the Ioniq 6. The all-electric and strikingly designed brother of the Ioniq 5, with its super-smooth body, promises to be a quite efficient EV, which is reflected in the official WLTP regulations. numbers too. It was previously announced that the range of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 would be just over 600 km, but now, according to Hyundai, the precise range of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 has been set at 614 km. Well over the 507 km of the Ioniq 5.
Range Hyundai Ioniq 6 per version
That range belongs to the rear-wheel drive version with the 77.4 kWh Long Range battery pack, provided the car is on 18-inch wheels. If you put the same Ioniq 6 on 20-inch light metal, you will reach 545 km according to the WLTP cycle. If you go for four-wheel drive, you will come to 583 km (with 18-inch wheels) and 519 km if you put 20-inch copies under it. With the standard battery with 53 kWh capacity, only available in combination with rear-wheel drive, you can travel 429 km and have the most favorable consumption of 13.9 kWh/100 km. The version that goes 614 km, according to Hyundai, consumes 14.3 kWh per 100 km.
The fact that the range of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 is so favorable is largely due to its aerodynamic body with a Cw value of 0.21. If you still almost run out of power, you can top up 351 km of driving range on the fast charger in fifteen minutes.
