A university student has created a handy online tool with which you can see which artists and genres are your favorites in Spotify. ‘Spotify Pie’, as the website is called, makes it clear in a pie chart.

Spotify does more than just play music tracks, as the app’s algorithms also give you interesting music recommendations based on your listening history. Yet there is no handy way with which you can see at a glance which artists and music genres are played by you the most.
Darren Huang, a student at the California University UCLA has therefore created a website that does give you such insights. First of all, you have to Spotify Pie website visit and log in with your account. After that, you also have to give the tool permission to access your Spotify data and then the relevant disk diagram appears. Spotify Pie looks the best on your phone.
My pie chart showed that Rock is my most played music genre, but I also listen to John Williams’ beautiful Star Wars music quite a lot. Tapping on the chart will also show you which artists belong to the music genre. You can also tap genres in the legend and that way they will be deleted in the pie chart. Wrapped and audiobooks
Spotify also has its own tool that gives you insight into your favorite music, which is called ‘Spotify Wrapped’. Every year-end you get a nice overview of your music taste of the past year. It’s just a shame that you have to wait a year for it every time.
