More and more people can plan their booster shot in the fight against the corona virus. However, do not forget to only have the vaccine pricked, also update the CoronaCheck app immediately. This is how you proceed to put your booster shot in the app.
The CoronaCheck app can be found in the Play Store, but chances are you already have it. If you wanted to do something in the past six months, chances are you had to show your QR code or have it scanned. You will receive this QR code if you have received two vaccines or if you have had an official test and have been found negative.
Booster shot in the CoronaCheck app
To ensure that we remain well protected against the virus, the booster shot is now necessary. You can also put that in the CoronaCheck app and that is very easy:
- Open CoronaCheck on your smartphone
- Tap the plus in the top right corner
- Choose ‘Vaccination certificate’
- Log in with your DigiD, via the app, via SMS or with your passport or ID card
- The app then checks in the background whether the GGD has indeed reported that you have been boosted. If so, the information about your shot will appear in the app
- If it worked, choose Make QR code to make your proof that you can hopefully show somewhere soon when we are out of this lockdown
- Download the CoronaCheck app here in the Play Store
Vaccination validity date
Are you worried because the validity date has not changed? Not necessary: after all, you were protected after your second vaccine and it has only been extended.
Are you looking for the basics about the CoronaCheck app or how to put your first or second vaccine in it? That’s possible, we discussed the app earlier in the app of the week: ‘This is the corona passport and that’s how you create your DCC’.
Have you already received your booster shot? Hopefully it didn’t make you too upset. Leave your comment below this article.
