If you want to use Disney+, it is wise to first download the app (android and iOS) on your phone or open the site on your PC. Sign Up
Once you open it, you can sign up for the service. To do this, you share your email address with Disney, enter a password and then proceed to payment. It has recently been no longer possible to take out a free trial subscription to Disney+. Unfortunately, the streaming service has stopped doing this. You can choose a monthly or annual subscription to the streaming service, so you can try it out for a month first. You currently pay 8.99 euros per month or 89.90 euros per year.
You pay it like other apps in the App Store or Google Play. If you register via the site of Disney+ you can pay with credit card, iDeal or Paypal.

You have a smart TV
If you have a smart TV, there are two ways to watch Disney+. You will be able to download Disney+ as a separate application in the application store of your smart TV itself. In addition, your television is smart, so you can also switch on Disney+ by using your smartphone, which can be done via Airplay (Apple) or Chromecast (Android and iOS). Disney+ available on Samsung TVs
The Disney+ app can now also be downloaded on Samsung smart TVs. The app is via the Samsung Smart Hub to obtain. You can install the application on all smart televisions from 2017. The Samsung Smart Hub is the platform where you can, among other things, browse the internet and watch television via various apps.
You don’t have a smart TV, but you do have a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One
Smart TVs have an application store, but so do consoles PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Xbox One, which also offer the app. The disadvantage compared to a smart TV is that you have to have your console and your television on to watch, but without a smart TV it is very convenient to use the console to watch movies and series from Star Wars, among others. , Marvel and Pixar. You use the controller to navigate through the menus.
No smart TV or game console?
If you don’t have a smart TV or a game console, then you don’t necessarily have to watch Disney classics such as Beauty & the Beast and Aladdin on your phone. You can use a Chromecast. This is a round device that can be purchased from 39 euros and with which you can stream media via WiFi. If you have an HDMI port in your television, you can connect the Chromecast to it.
