Nissan Ariya Nismo

Nissan combines its sporty Nismo label with the Ariya. This is the Nissan Ariya Nismo, a sporty electric SUV, with which you can choose from two engines. It has up to 435 hp.

The electric Nissan Ariya is already available in many technical variants in the Netherlands. It is available with a 63 kWh battery pack in combination with a 217 hp electric heart and with an 87 kWh battery coupled to a 242 hp electric motor. That larger battery pack is also in the two four-wheel drive e-4orce versions that produce 306 hp or 396 hp. During the Tokyo Auto Salon, Nissan presented a sporty Nismo version. It is also available in various flavors.

The least powerful variant of the Nissan Ariya Nismo has a B6 e-4orce powertrain. It consists of two electric motors with a combined power of 367 hp and 560 Nm, which draw their zest for life from the 63 kWh battery. Above it is the more powerful B9 e-4orce in every respect. It not only has the larger 87 kWh battery, but also two 435 hp and 600 Nm strong electric motors.

Nissan has not yet released detailed technical specifications. We do know that the pair has a special Nismo driving mode, in which the SUV responds more directly to input from the pedals. The Ariya Nismo must sound different from the regular models, but there is more. So it has Nissan MoTorsport has, in its own words, revised ‘every component of the chassis’. No Nismo without a sportier appearance than the regular versions. The Nissan Ariya Nismo is therefore richly endowed with extra lips, edges and red-colored accents, although the whole remains relatively subtle.

It is not yet known whether and when the Nissan Ariya Nismo will come to the Netherlands.
