The Chinese manufacturer Qoros has presented a completely new and very striking study model in its home country. This is the Milestone Concept, a show car that approaches the angularity of the Tesla Truck.
Tesla’s electric pick-up may be the most angular car we’ve seen in recent years, but the Qoros Milestone is certainly capable of it too! The Milestone Concept is a preview of what Qoros will bring to design in the coming years.
The Chinese portfolio of Qoros consists of a set of SUVs and the now quite aging 3. The SUVs each have a relatively modern design language, but the 3 series – which includes a hatchback, a crossover and a sedan. , with his exterior, signed in 2013, does not appear too topical anymore. This Milestone Concept hints at a new design language that Qoros will pour in at least two electric models in a weakened measure.
Striking is the particularly angular carriage that the Milestone has. The lighting consists of sleek LED strips that appear to form a rectangle on both the front and back. We see illuminated Qoros logos all around and the Milestone Concept has four doors that open in a special way. The front and rear legs come forward first, and then each slide in their own direction. The interior looks at least as futuristic as the outside. On the dashboard, Qoros places enormous digital displays under cover and large displays have also been installed in the doors. Then the steering wheel, which is specially designed specimens laced with screens, but can also be completely hidden. Naturally, the concept car on paper is able to move completely autonomously. Qoros has not released extensive technical specifications, so the Milestone Concept is nothing but an advanced design precursor.

Qoros
Qoros was presented in 2013 as a Chinese brand that would make it in Europe for a while. Due to disappointing sales in the home country, Qoros decided to focus on the Chinese market first. The model range in China currently consists of the 3, the Young and the 5. The 3 is a C-segmenter, available as a hatchback and a sedan. There are also raised versions of both body styles for sale. Where the 3 is still a self-developed model, the Young is in fact nothing more than a Tiggo 7 from parent company Chery with other logos. The 5 presented in 2015 is its own model, a 4.59 meter long SUV that, strikingly enough, serves as the basis for the 7 that was presented recently.
