Lamborghini has made the very last Aventador for the second time. Production of the supercar had already stopped before, but because some of the Aventadors still to be delivered had been sentenced to the seabed, the brand resumed production earlier this year. The very last one is this Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae Roadster in a special color scheme.

The blue-grey livery is inspired by the only Miura Roadster ever built by the brand, which debuted at the 1968 Brussels Motor Show. Lamborghini built a lot more of the Aventador: more than 11,000 copies left the factory gates in Sant’Agata Bolognese. That is now coming to an end for the second time.

And with a Lamborghini Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae Roadster, the ultimate version of the supercar with V12 mid-engine. To arrive at the specification of this particular example, the Swiss buyer turned to Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program, where customers can implement personal wishes in detail in the car they receive. As far as we are concerned, this has been done in a particularly tasteful way for this last copy. The Aventador has been designed in an increasingly extreme way throughout its eleven-year life, but in this color scheme it gets – almost – something elegant. A worthy second goodbye, before Lamborghini pulls the curtain on the successor of the Aventador.
