MG EXE181

Can you find the 3.2 seconds it takes for the strongest MG Cyberster to sprint from a standstill to a speed of 100 km/h? Then just hold on tight. This MG completes the same job in just 1.9 seconds!

Meet the MG EXE181, a truly crazy creation from the MG that you currently mainly know from cars such as the MG ZS EV and MG 4 Electric. MG will soon expand its Dutch line-up with the down-to-earth MG 3 Hybrid and add the crazy Cyberster at the other end of the spectrum. The latter – an electric roadster – with its 544 hp strong top form, manages to reach 100 km/h from a standstill in just over 3 seconds. Even that Cyberster pales in comparison to what this MG EXE181 – on paper – manages to achieve.

The EXE181 is an electric single-seater with a cW value of only 0.18. According to the Chinese, the colossus can sprint from a standstill to a speed of 100 km/h in just 1.9 seconds. According to MG, enough to break a speed record. It is not the fastest sprinting car, that is the Pininfarina Battista. It is a tribute to the MG of the same name, with which MG managed to reach a speed of over 410 km/h in the late 1950s. This reinterpretation would of course have to go beyond that. It is of course not a production model. MG uses the electric excess during Auto China to charm the public.
