This year iOS 19 is coming to the iPhone and a popular app is said to be completely different. This application on the iPhone (and iPad) is going!
iOS 19
The WWDC 2025 is coming and that means that Apple is presenting iOS 19 soon. On Monday, June 9 at 7 p.m. (Dutch time), Apple reveals which features come to iOS 19. According to rumors, it is about the largest software update since 2013, when Apple announced iOS 7. At iOS 19 we see a completely new interface, with more transparent frameworks and new symbols with all apps.
That is not the only change that Apple is making, because several apps from the company are being overhauled in iOS 19. One of them is the agenda app, which is completely redesigned for iOS 19. Apple has now indirectly confirmed that with a vacancy at the company. With this vacancy, the company searched in April 2025 for a developer for creating and setting up a new agenda app.

New agenda app
In the vacancy, Apple describes that a new, modern agenda app is being worked on. It is therefore certain that the application will be completely different, but it is still unclear which innovations come to the calendar. In 2024, Apple already took over Mayday Labs, which is a Canadian company that used artificial intelligence at its own calendar app. Chances are that we will return similar functions in the agenda app in iOS 19.
That means that the agenda app will be expanded with Apple Intelligence. With the help of artificial intelligence, appointments are then automatically put in the agenda. Apple Intelligence is checked when you can best schedule an appointment, which is the ideal time for the appointment and whether there are no other obligations around the same time. Do you still have a double appointment? Then the agenda app from iOS 19 makes a proposal a new date and time.

Release of iOS 19
These functions were previously available in the Mayday application and are probably coming to Apple’s own agenda app with iOS 19. That’s not all, because the agenda app probably also gets a new design. Apple processes more elements of Visionos in iOS 19, which we will also see in the renewed agenda app. Similar changes are expected at the agenda app on the iPad and Mac (book).
With iOS 19, the Agenda app will have a number of useful new functions and a new layout. We know what changes Apple is implementing next month, if the company announces iOS 19. Then we also see large software updates such as iPados 19, MacOS 16 and Watchos 12. Are you curious about what to expect from the WWDC 2025?
