Samsung is working on a budget device with a 50 MP camera. The smartphone may be called ‘Galaxy A13’, and it will appear with support for 5G and Android 12. This year it will be on the market for less than 200 euros.

The Galaxy A13 will be released this fall. A new affordable smartphone from Samsung that comes right out of the box with Android 12 and the One UI 4.0 shell, you know that Galaxy Club. We were recently shown images and information about Samsung’s new software shell.
But the most striking thing about this phone may well be in a different aspect. Samsung wants to use a 50 MP main camera with the Galaxy A13, which is quite remarkable, because the phones are rumored to cost less than 200 euros. We do not yet know exactly which sensor is involved, but we usually see simpler cameras in such phones.
The phone will also come with a chipset that includes a 5G modem, but we don’t know which one yet. As we often see with Samsung devices from the low price segment, this A13 also gets a relatively large 5000 mAh battery.

Furthermore, we know that the phone will come to Europe, but when that will be the case is not yet known. It is expected to be in the fourth quarter of 2021, more precisely in November. If that information is correct, it means that this smartphone may appear earlier with Android 12 before the S21 series has had the update.
Last year, the S20 series got the One UI 3.0 update in December, and that would be no different this year with Android 12. For the time being, it remains to be seen until more information about the A13 and the Android 12 update from Samsung is available.
