This looks like a study model from the early nineties, but in fact this Porsche 968 L’ART is completely new. Porsche built it together with designer Arthur Kar of the Parisian fashion brand L’Art De L’Automobile. The unique art car made its debut during the last Paris Fashion Week.

L’Art De L’Automobile designs clothing that embodies the connection between car and fashion, writes Porsche. Founder Arthur Kar is a big fan of the German sports car manufacturer and has apparently been dreaming of his own Porsche 968 for a long time. And he now has one.

Thirtieth anniversary of the 968
This 968 L’ART was designed and built in Paris, in honor of the 968’s thirtieth anniversary. The developers took off the roof, mixed a special green color for the body and hired TAG Heuer, Recaro and Bose for special clocks, bucket seats and an audio system.

Porsche 968 with 3.0-litre four-cylinder
The Porsche 968 was introduced in 1991 and was a further development of 944 from 1982. Until 1995 slightly more than 12,700 copies were built, of which almost 4400 were convertibles. The 968 was powered by a 3.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 240 hp. Later there was also a turbo version with more than 300 hp.
