As an avid follower or fan of a sports club, it is nice to always be aware of when your club is playing. However, it is a hassle to manually add a full season of matches to your calendar. Fortunately, there is a much more simple way to see at a glance when the next whistle will sound.
The website make-agenda.nl has converted a schedule of countless clubs into an agenda that you can subscribe to. This way, all match dates with time and location appear in your calendar.
You can not only choose from all Eredivisie clubs, but from many more leagues. For example, subscribe to a club from the Kitchen Champion Division, women’s football, matches of the Dutch national team or clubs from all kinds of foreign competitions, such as the English Premier League or Italian Serie A.
This is how you add match schedules
Are you more of a fan of Max Verstappen or do you follow a hockey or basketball club closely? Also for this you can find and add match schedules via this website. You can find this at the bottom of the website. If you use the standard Calendar app, you can add a schedule in just four steps.
- On your Mac or iPhone, go to make-agenda.nl;
- Select the country and the correct league;
- Tap the club whose schedule you want to add and then ‘Apple iCal’;
- Then press Subscribe on an iPhone, then on a Mac in the pop-up window, press Allow, then Subscribe in Calendar.
Since it is a calendar subscription, it will be automatically updated if there are any changes. For example, if matches are moved, this will automatically change to Calendar. In addition to importing into Apple’s standard Calendar app, it is also possible to import the game schedules into Google Calendar or Outlook.
