Do you find it difficult to make choices? Then ask your friends for help. You can do this by adding a poll to Instagram Stories.
Instagram Stories poll: ask your question now
Instagram Stories is big and Instagram keeps adding possibilities. The newest option is to add a poll. This means that you ask your followers a question and they can choose from two answers. Then it remains to be seen which choice gets the most votes.
Polls can be added as a sticker, which you place on the photo or video that you publish as a story. Go through the following steps to post the poll in your Instagram story.
- Add a story by tapping your profile picture in the top right, just below ‘Stories’;
- Take a photo or video, or add it from your library;
- Tap the sticker button at the top of the screen;
- Choose the poll sticker;
- Add your own question and answers;
- Publish your story.
After publishing your poll
Once you have published the poll, your friends will be able to vote. As soon as someone has voted, they can immediately see the interim score. If they look at your story again later, they will see how the stand is doing.

Of course you also want to know the results yourself. To do this, swipe up to see the audience list. There you can see not only how many votes each option received, but also who voted for what. So be careful what you vote for in other people’s polls, because they can see your choice. If you’re trying to choose between two things, this list will help you rely on the people you trust most. Of course, the poll will disappear after 24 hours along with your story.
