With the introduction of Apple Pay in the Netherlands, it is now possible to pay with your Apple Watch. Super handy, but for a discount you still have to take out your wallet to scan a card.
With the Appie app it is possible to place a widget of your bonus card on your iPhone, but then you still have to grab your iPhone. If you pay with an Apple Watch, you won’t get anywhere with it. Fortunately, it is possible to show your bonus card and other discount cards on your Apple Watch.
Download Stocard
To put discount cards on your Apple Watch, download the Stocard app. The application can be downloaded from the App Store via the button below. Stocard lets you add cards from all kinds of stores. Think of Albert Heijn, Kruidvat, HEMA, GAMMA and Etos.
It is also possible to use your Air Miles in this way, for example. Even if you have an anonymous bonus card from Albert Heijn, you can scan it and use it with your Apple Watch.
Go through these steps
- In Stocard, choose the store you want to add;
- Give the app access to your camera and scan the barcode on the card;
- Open the Stocard app on your Apple Watch by pressing the crown and tapping the app icon;
- Choose the store where you need the card from.
Pay with Apple Pay
