If you have to do a lot of literature research and especially a lot of typing, then the MacBook Air is a wise choice. If you have to run a lot of heavy applications for your studies, such as Photoshop or a video editing program, then you better go for the MacBook Pro. It is more powerful than the MacBook Air, allowing you to run more programs at the same time without overloading the system.
The latest MacBook Pro not only lasts longer with updates, with 16GB it also has twice as much RAM as its predecessor. Have you finished studying? The MacBook Pro is of course also excellent to use for relaxation.
For example, if you plan to play games and watch a lot of series and movies on your laptop, then that is another reason to go for the Pro version. The latest MacBook Pro has a video card that is 80 percent more powerful than its predecessor and can run every game and video effortlessly.
You will notice that the MacBook Pro 2020 is one of the most powerful laptops at the moment. You pay 1499 euros for the entry-level model. The most luxurious version even goes up to 2379 euros and can also be expanded. However, this is a good investment for the future: the MacBook Pro is sure to last for years to come.

The MacBook Air is a bit cheaper at 1199 euros. So if you don’t run too heavy programs on your MacBook, you don’t get the most out of the functionality of a MacBook Pro. In that case, the price is also a good trade-off to make when choosing a MacBook, and the MacBook Air will be more than enough for you.
