Top 10: Most expensive new cars in the Netherlands

McLaren announced the price of the new 765LT on Monday. With an amount of at least € 412,000, it is a brand new arrival in the top ten most expensive new cars in the Netherlands.

In fact, there are only a handful of models that should cost more. In doing so, we assume that cars are (will be) produced in a considerable volume and have not (yet) been sold out. Think of a minimum volume of 500 copies.

In short, let’s not take into account the recent flow of two-seaters from Aston Martin, Ferrari and McLaren themselves, just like the Zagatos of this world or a model like the Bentley Bacalar. The McLaren Senna would have effortlessly qualified for the list with a production number of 500 units and a price of € 1,002,097 if it hadn’t already sold out. Those who nevertheless have € 1,195,000, immediately rush to Louwman Exclusive, because there is a white copy from January 2019.

The Bentley Mulsanne would also have claimed a number of top ten rankings, but this car is now out of production, just like the Rolls-Royce Ghost.

The most expensive new car available is probably the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster. We say probably because no Dutch price for the model has been announced. It is clear that for the first copy of the “normal” Aventador SVJ € 580,934 has been paid, although there is also a copy of € 623,859 driving around. In the first case, too, it is not immediately clear for how much options have been raised. In any case, it is expected that a Roadster version is even more expensive.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom follows in second place. The starting price was determined at the end of 2017 at € 545,000. For the British brand, the price quickly rises thanks to the option list, witness a copy with 10 kilometers on the counter at Cito Motors. This is because there is a price tag of € 646,101.

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge is a similar story. The starting price is fixed at € 472,129, but with some options it will soon add almost a ton. If you don’t have the energy to put one together, you can go to Cito Motors once again, but with € 561,882. Fortunately, the “regular” Cullinan is already there for € 415,215.

With a base price of € 459,531, the Lamborghini Aventador S falls just outside the top three. The Ferrari SF90 Stradale is on the heels of the competitor from Sant’Agata Bolognese with a starting price of € 449,661. The 812 GTS is just a little less expensive with € 425,874.

The McLaren 765LT comes in eighth with its price of € 412,000. He is ahead of the 720S Spider and Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante. The open 720S costs € 343,000 in the Netherlands, while the Aston Martin reportedly changes owners for at least around € 325,000, although that amount may also be considerably higher. In short, it is not immediately clear who ends higher. The final comment is clear; that is the Ferrari F8 Spider.
