To limit corona damage, several Renault executives are now volunteering a large part of their salary.
Renault’s Board of Directors has come together for a great deal of consultation. Pain number one on the agenda is the annual general meeting of shareholders. It was scheduled for April 24, but will now be suspended until at least June 12.
In addition, all members have opted not to have a quarter of their wages paid out. Chairman Jean-Dominique Senard and Renault’s CEO Clotilde Delbos took the lead by withholding 25 percent of their wages for at least the second quarter of this year. According to Le Parisien Senard and Delbos earn € 450,000 and € 900,000 gross annually. The rest of the Board of Directors followed this example and will not distribute a quarter of the performance money for this new financial year. The money saved is transferred to a new internal solidarity fund.
