Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera celebrates its 95th anniversary with the Arese RH95. The exclusive exotic has striking opening doors and behind the front seats is a mighty V8. Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera says nothing about it itself, but it seems that the Arese RH95 is secretly a Ferrari 488.
In May you could already exclusively show Techzle the patent plates of the Arese RH95, Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera’s gift to itself. The coachbuilder, known for the Disco Volante on an Alfa Romeo base and its openwork Spyder brother, has now unveiled the Arese RH95 himself. The company is celebrating its 95th anniversary in style.
Just like the Aero 3 presented earlier this year, the Arese RH95 has a special front with relatively small headlights and a fairly small grille split into two parts. No lack of eye-catching design elements. For example, the car has butterfly doors with a glass upper part, an air scoop high above the tailgate and a rear part with diffuser and large cooling openings.
Behind the front seats is a 670 hp V8, a 760 Nm strong 3.9 V8 that comes straight from the Ferrari 488 GTB. In fact, the Arese RH95 looks in fact ‘just’ a Ferrari 488 with a radically different body. Even the overall design of the interior matches that of that car. With its V8, the Arese RH95 thunders in about 3 seconds to a speed of 100 km/h. Its top speed: 330 km/h.
While the Arese RH95 is in fact a birthday present from Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera to itself, the company isn’t going to make it just one. The 4.78 meter long rip nose will be available in an edition of 18 pieces.
