For their reopening, bars, restaurants and sports halls will have to set up a reminder book in closed places to be able to inform people who may have been exposed to Covid-19 contamination. An electronic version of the paper reminders can be set up, here’s how to use it.
The reopening of closed places, in particular bars, restaurants, and sports halls, will not be done without the establishment of a reminder book. Professionals in the sector will therefore have two options: opt for the good old paper reminder book, in which customers will have to write down their contact details or, more convenient, choose the digital reminder book, TousAntiCovid Signal, integrated into the TousAntiCovid mobile application.
Main advantage with this solution, customers do not have to handle a pen or physical notebook. The whole procedure takes place from their own smartphone and the TousAntiCovid application which will be used to scan a QR Code displayed at the entrance of the establishment.

None nominative customer data is not collected, the QR code corresponding to an encrypted identifier. It simply allows customers to indicate their presence in a place at a time T, which will allow them to be alerted as soon as a person present in the same place at the same time declares himself positive for Covid 19 in TousAntiCovid, without however that they do not know in which establishment or on what date they were exposed.
The places scanned in TousAntiCovid Signal are kept in the application for a period of 15 days before being deleted. In addition, the professionals concerned are invited to post a new QR Code in their establishment every week.

1. Download TousAntiCovid
If you haven’t already done so, download and activate the TousAntiCovid application on your Android smartphone or iPhone.
It is from TousAntiCovid that you can use TousAntiCovid Signal, the digital reminder book.
2. Scan the QR Code
Theoretically, if you disembark in an establishment and scan the QR Code set up by the owner of the premises directly from your smartphone’s camera, a notification will invite you to open TousAntiCovid if the application is already installed. Otherwise, the scanned QR Code will send you directly to the application’s download page.
This is the case for example on iOS. On Android, however, depending on your device, the camera does not automatically scan the displayed QR Codes.
The easiest way is to scan the QR Code directly through the TousAntiCovid application that you have installed.
To do this, open TousAntiCovid and scroll through the information displayed until you reach the section dedicated to the Reminder log. Then press Scan a QR Code instead.
In the explanatory page recalling the operation of the digital reminder book that appears, press I Scan.
Then point your smartphone at the QR Code displayed in the establishment where you are. A “Thank you” message is displayed when the QR Code has been successfully scanned, then press OK.
3. Access the reminder book log
All QR Codes from places you scanned in the app are logged for two weeks in the app.
You can consult them and if you wish, delete them. To do this, at the very bottom of the TousAntiCovid interface, in the More section, press Reminder notebook journal.
A list of all the places you’ve been to and reported to is displayed. Press the trash can icon displayed at the end of the line for each location to erase the entry saved in the reminder book.
