Toyota is launching a special edition of the GR Supra. The brand introduces the GR Supra Jarama Racetrack Edition, an exclusive version of which only 90 copies come to Europe. Only one of them will come to the Netherlands.
The Dutch Toyota importer has managed to obtain one copy of the GR Supra Jarama Racetrack Edition, a € 85,995 Supra that is specially equipped. The special edition is named after the Jarama circuit in Spain, where the current Supra was first put to the test by media including Techzle.
It is painted Horizon Blue and stands on 19-inch matte black alloy wheels with red brake calipers hidden behind them. The exclusive Supra is also dressed on the inside. Toyota gives him a carbon fiber plaque that shows, among other things, the production number and the layout of Jarama. The interior is further decorated with black Alcantara that is finished with blue stitching. Both seats are electrically adjustable and heated. More pampering comes in the form of comprehensive infotainment and a range of passive and active safety systems that Toyota has included in the Supra Safety + package.
The powertrain is not further tinkered with, which means that the GR Supra Jarama Racetrack Edition also has the 340 hp and 500 Nm strong six-in-line under the hood with which Toyota’s sports coupé sprints to 100 km / h in 4.3 counts. As mentioned, only one copy is coming to the Netherlands. Why Toyota only builds 90 copies worldwide? The number 90 is a reference to the code name of the Supra: A90.
