Toyota puts MPV Sienna higher on the legs

The Sienna is by far the most practical car in the American Toyota range. The almost 5.2 meter long MPV is therefore not the first model of which you expect an elevated, more adventurous variant. Yet it is the Sienna that undergoes a special Woodland treatment.

Toyota presents a special edition of the Sienna in the United States: the Woodland Special Edition. That is a more adventurous version of the Sienna with chrome accents a few shades darker, but that is not the only thing. The Sienna is equipped with four-wheel drive as standard, although the rear wheels only jump in when the situation calls for it. On the rear axle is a small electric motor that drives the wheels here, just like the four-wheel drive versions of the Prius and Camry that are not available here.

Toyota not only gives the Sienna Woodland Special Edition all-wheel drive, the MPV is also higher on its feet. However, the brand does not disclose how many centimeters it is higher above the road. More Woodland enjoyment comes in the form of a towbar and in the back of the MPV Toyota mounts a 120v socket to charge all kinds of devices. The 18-inch light alloy Sienna gets standard roof rails with sleepers, black Toyota logos, an extensive JBL audio system with twelve speakers and genuine sports seats with special stitching.

The Sienna is not available in the Netherlands, so this Woodland edition is not coming to our country. Would a large MPV from Toyota be a welcome addition to the Dutch delivery range? Let us know in the comments.
