The Toyota RAV4 recently lost an engine version, but Toyota also completes the delivery range of its hybrid or plug-in hybrid SUV. The Toyota RAV4 is now also available as a GR Sport. AutoWeek can already tell you what that version costs before Toyota itself publicizes it.

Toyota recently canceled the conventional and therefore non-hybrid petrol version of the RAV4. The hybrid and plug-in hybrid engine versions will continue to exist and they are now also available as a sporty GR Sport. The GR Sport version of the RAV4 was already presented in October last year, but what it would cost was still unknown. So until now.

The Toyota RAV4 2.5 Hybrid costs €60,995 as a GR Sport. The GR Sport version passes the front-wheel drive hybrid RAV4 and is only available with four-wheel drive in combination with the hybrid engine version. For the plug-in hybrid – always with four-wheel drive – Toyota RAV4 in GR Sport gear you have to pay €64,295. The GR Sport version is the most expensive version for the hybrid RAV4. The GR Sport taste must tolerate the Bi-Tone Plus version above it with the RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid.

The GR Sport version brings a black honeycomb grille, high-gloss black wheel arch edges and window frames and black 19-inch wheels to the RAV4. More external perks? Certainly. For example, the hybrid RAV4 gets a black front lip. The RAV4 Plug-in also receives a modified front spoiler as a GR sport, although it is painted silver. Inside you get, among other things, sports seats that are covered with artificial leather and a suede-like material. Silver stitching, silver accents and a range of GR Sport badges complete the GR Sport party. It doesn’t stop at just outward appearance. For example, the RAV4’s GR Sport have new stiffer springs and differently tuned shock absorbers.
