Toyota Yaris Cross prices announced

The Toyota Yaris Cross is a brand new compact crossover that nestles between the Yaris and the C-HR. The first prizes of the Toyota Yaris Cross, also available with a hybrid powertrain, have now been announced. The Toyota Yaris Cross can be ordered immediately and will be available at dealers from September.

The Yaris Cross is Toyota’s latest crossover, a model that is also smaller than any other crossover or SUV from the brand. At 4.18 meters long, it is 24 centimeters longer than the Yaris, but about 18 centimeters shorter than the C-HR. Like the Yaris, the C-HR is not only available with a petrol engine, but also with a hybrid powertrain. The Toyota Yaris Cross has a starting price of €24,295.

For that spacious 24 mille, Toyota presses the keys of the Yaris Cross with 125 hp 1.5 petrol engine in your hand. In that case, the Toyota Yaris Cross is executed as a Comfort and the three-cylinder is linked to a manual six-speed gearbox. Toyota also supplies the Yaris Cross with this non-hybrid 1.5 and manual gearbox in the temporary version First Edition and the Executive flavor. They cost €28,795 and €32,595 respectively. The 125 hp 1.5 VVT-i is also available with an automatic transmission. In that case, there is less to choose from, the Yaris Cross is currently only available as a €29,995 First Edition in that configuration.

Toyota Yaris Cross Executive

Hybrid

Toyota wouldn’t be Toyota if it weren’t for a hybrid powertrain in the Yaris Cross. Thus, the new compact crossover with its relatively high, sturdy nose is also available with the well-known 116 hp 1.5 VVT-I hybrid power plant from the Yaris. This hybrid variant, which is always linked to an automatic transmission, has a starting price of € 30,995. Please note, this is also a provisional starting price, as Toyota asks that amount for the temporarily available First Edition. The Yaris Cross 1.5 VVT-I Hybrid is also available as an Executive (€35,395), Adventure (€35,995) and as a Launch Edition (€37,695). The Launch Edition is, in addition to the First Edition, a second limited edition. Later this year, Toyota will release the prices of the regular entry-level hybrid versions.

Equipment

The standard equipment of the Toyota Yaris Cross includes air conditioning, LED taillights and the naturally extensive package of safety systems called Toyota Safety Sense 2.0. This includes automatic high beam, adaptive cruise control, active lane assistant and traffic sign recognition. An airbag between the front seats is also standard. The Executive, Adventure and Launch Edition flavors have a more extensive safety package that also includes Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

Toyota Yaris Cross First Edition

The First Edition has as extras Toyota’s Smart Connect infotainment system with 9-inch screen. The system supports both Apple Carplay and Android Auto and also has a navigation function. The Yaris Cross First Edition comes standard on 17-inch alloy, has privacy glass and in addition to LED rear lights, also LED headlights and fog lights with LED wicks. More pampering comes in the form of a rear view camera and Smart Entry. The First Edition also has a leather-covered steering wheel, a leather-covered gear lever and, instead of just the front, also electrically operated windows.

A step above the First Edition is the Executive, a version that includes electrically adjustable, heated and automatically folding door mirrors and 18-inch light metal. Toyota also gives the Executive two-zone separated climate control, an automatically dimming interior mirror, LED interior lighting, partially leather-covered sports seats, an induction charger, a head-up display and an extensive audio system with eight speakers.

Toyota Yaris Cross Adventure

The Adventure version is – its name gives it away – the more adventurously dressed version of the bunch. From the outside, you can recognize the Yaris Cross Adventure by its dark gray 18-inch alloy, its roof rails and its own bumper work. The Adventure is also packed with things such as LED matrix viewers, a heated windscreen, a heated steering wheel, sports seats that are partially covered with leather and seat heating. The Adventure’s tailgate can be opened by waving your foot under the rear bumper.

Toyota Yaris Cross Launch Edition

The Launch Edition is based on the Adventure version, but is nicely eccentric. For example, the seats are fully covered with leather and the Yaris Cross in this outfit has a Brass Gold painted body that is combined with a black roof.
