Do you have an iPhone or iPad and want to transfer your photos and videos to your Windows PC without iCloud, without iTunes and even without a USB cable? This can be done surprisingly smoothly with the free AirMore app.
QR code
You don’t have to install anything on your computer, but on your iPhone download the free AirMore app from the App Store. Of course you make sure that the smartphone and the PC are connected to the same WiFi network. Then open an internet browser on the PC and enter the following web address: web.airmore.com. On the web page you will get a QR code and a tab Radar. Use the QR code and open the app on your iOS device where a big blue button asks to scan the QR code. The text will appear on your mobile device Connected to PC and the IP address. If you want to disconnect the connection between iPhone and computer, use the button Disconnect.

Even more interesting is what happens on your PC screen. Your iPhone will be welcomed into the browser window of the web app. You see data such as: resolution, the number of photos and videos, how much energy is left in the battery, how much GB the storage space uses and how much is still free. On the left are a number of buttons, in this case only the buttons Pictures and Videos to interest.
To download
Via the button Pictures you will see all the photos on the iPhone. The latest photos are at the top, but you can also use the button: Sort by month. When you click on a photo, three icons will appear. The first, the eye, is used to enlarge the photo. Next to it is the button to download the photo file to the PC. You use the third button, the garbage can, to delete the photo. You can of course also check several photos at the same time and then choose the right action for this selection. To go back to the AirMore homepage, use the button with the house. Then you can access the library with Videos to open. Here you can also view, download and delete the video files. When you want to delete a photo or video via the computer, you will receive a message on your iPhone to confirm that these files can be deleted.
