With the memories app on your iPhone, iPad and Mac you can easily keep to-dologs and you no longer forget a task. Once you have completed a task, you can check it out to indicate that it is complete.
All rounded memories are automatically stored in a separate section. That way you can always find them later. As a result, a considerable history is being built up. With the help of a simple trick you can quickly delete all completed memories.
View and delete completed memories
- Open memories on your iPhone or iPad
- Go to a list of memories
- Tap the three dots
- Choose ‘Show completed’
On a Mac you will find this shortcut by clicking in a reminder list at the top of ‘Toon’ at complete.

Then you can definitively remove the completed memories by next to ‘[x] completed ‘tapping or clicking on’Wisp. ‘ You then get the choice to choose a period or all. All completed copies will be deleted immediately. Repeat this for all desired lists.
Trick for all completed memories
The steps above describe how you can remove your completed items per reminder list, but you can also immediately remove all, but also all, completed memories in one go. To do this, open the ‘all’ memory list. By opening these you see all future memories, but through the three dots you can also view and delete the completed copies. On a Mac, click on ‘Show’ at ‘completed’ and then on ‘Wis’.
