A special edition of the Tiger 900 family is on the way at Triumph, according to updated vehicle certificates Down Under. An Aragon Edition has been registered for both the Tiger 900 GT and the more off-road oriented Tiger 900 Rally.

Homologation data in Australia has shown that just before Christmas last year, information on the Tiger 900 models was updated by Triumph with the addition of two new models: the Tiger 900 GT Aragon Edition and the Tiger 900 Rally Aragon Edition.
Images were unfortunately not included (which is common in China, for example), but judging by the name we dare to guess that the bike will at least visually bear a lot of similarity to the Tiger 900 Rally with which Iván Cervantes won the race last year. Baja Aragon rode.
Cervantes finished the rally in first place in the new Trail class, although it should be noted that there were only 3 entries. The other two were Yamaha Ténéré 700s. However, of a total of 75 starters, Cervantes finished in 11th place with the Tiger 900, just 40 minutes behind Team Sherco TVS factory driver Rui Gonçalves and 2 hours and 41 minutes ahead of the fastest Ténéré, a really good performance.
The technical information of both Aragon Editions tells us that they have the same block and the same bicycle part, but that they are a bit heavier. The Rally is specified for a weight of 214 kilos, for the GT version it is 210 kilos. It is not known what those differences are, but that could be in mounted accessories, for example.

When the Tiger 900 GT Aragon Edition and Tiger 900 Rally Aragon Edition will be revealed and how much they will cost is unknown. All we know is that they are registered as a 2023 model.
