The Turkish Togg has chosen the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas as a stage to introduce itself extensively to the world. We are introduced to a new concept car and the brand explains its plans for the future.

For the avid visitor of AutoWeek.nl, the electric sedan that you see in these photos is probably no longer a surprise. Earlier we were able to show you extensive patent plates of the new study model from the Turkish Togg. The presentation of the concept car is not the only news that Togg brings to Turkey. The brand also gives a more concrete interpretation of its ambitions.

By 2030, Togg wants to produce no less than 1 million cars spread over five segments. At the end of this year, the brand will show its first production model, which will be launched in Europe in the first quarter of 2023. It will not surprise you that this will be an electric SUV in the C-segment. So think of a Qashqai-sized EV. Togg already showed a first prototype of that electric SUV at the end of 2019 and AutoWeek previously conjured up the patent plates of what are probably the production versions of that electric high-legged top hat. After the electric SUV, Togg launches a hatchback and a sedan in the C-segment. That brings us to the concept car that Togg brings to the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. That is probably the harbinger on the sedan. Togg doesn’t stop there, because it also announces the chance of a compact crossover and an MPV in the C-segment.

Togg does not share extensive technical specifications, so you have to use the so-called suicide doors equipped electric liftback primarily as a design-technical preview of what is to come. Togg describes himself not as a car maker but as a tech company and calls his cars smart devices. Togg describes his future models in any case as autonomous, electric, connected and writes that the divisibility of the cars will also be important. Fun fact: Togg’s logo symbolizes the bridge that the brand wants to build between ‘East and West’ in the field of interior and exterior design, among other things.
