Two new colors for 2024 Z900

Kawasaki is very happy and proud that the Z900 has been the best-selling Naked in the Netherlands since its launch. To continue this sales success, two new color schemes have been devised for the 2024 model year, which will be available at Kawasaki dealers this September.

Two new colors for 2024 Z900

We’ve said it before, but no Kawasaki motorcycle in recent decades has had as big an impact as the Z900, the first Kawasaki that, to quote test rider Janik Kaufmann, “doesn’t look like a Kawasaki drives.” Ride any Kawasaki from before 2015 and then switch to the Z900 and you will understand what the German means by that.

Designed from the Sugomi design philosophy that Team Green first applied to the last generation Z1000, using the same frame technology first used on the Ninja H2. A sporty motorcycle par excellence with two faces: Dr. Jekyll in the range up to say 8-9,000 rpm and Mr Hyde for those who had the courage to stay in the five figure range.

This applied to the first one in 2017 and, despite the stricter emission requirements, this still applies, also to the 2024 version that should be available at Kawasaki dealers from this month. In fact, over the years Kawasaki has only added the proverbial finishing touches, adding multiple riding modes and traction control and a beautiful TFT color display with Bluetooth connectivity.

For those who the Z900 was not sporty enough, an SE model was added a few years ago, with high-quality suspension from Öhlins and Brembo brakes. Of course, it is immediately recognizable by its unique bright green color scheme.

Just like the first Z900 SE, the 2024 version is also available in all colors, as long as it is green, but for the standard Z900 two new colors have been devised: Candy Persimmon Red with red frame and Metallic Spark Black/Metallic Matte Dark Gray with black frame. The color Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray with green frame remains.

Available from this month, the cost will be announced later.
