I was looking for a new backpack for a weekend getaway, and Urban Armor Gear’s Tech series seemed perfect. This backpack is durable and has practical functions for everyday use, travel or work, ideal for people who often travel with tech.

The UAG Premium Tech Backpack is a rugged backpack constructed from ultra-strong ballistic 1050D nylon, designed for work, travel and everyday use. Immediately capacity of 24 liters it offers plenty of space for your belongings and the main compartment opens completely flat (clamshell design) for easy access. The padded laptop compartment fits devices up to 16 inches, such as the MacBook Pro, and there are plenty of smart pockets including a hidden passport pocket, a microfibre-lined top pocket for glasses and a secret pocket for an AirTag or other tracker.
The backpack weighs 890 grams and offers comfort thanks to Airmesh padding on the back and shoulder straps, and a sturdy chest strap. Thanks to the luggage pass-through you can easily attach the backpack to a suitcase. The extra large handles, waterproof YKK zippers, D-rings for accessories and a side pocket for a water bottle complete the backpack.

The sturdy YKK zippers contribute to a robust construction that is suitable for intensive use.

The UAG Tech backpack is a so-called clamshell backpack (also called a suitcase backpack) and is designed to open completely like a suitcase. Instead of just an opening at the top, the bag unzips its full length, allowing you to lay the backpack flat on a bed or table.
The clamshell opening makes packing and accessing contents easy without the need for digging; This way you can immediately see what is in your backpack. This does require some practice, as it is advisable to lay the backpack flat, for example on a table, when you open it completely; otherwise it will become unstable and the backpack may collapse like a piece of pudding. Of course, you can also only open the zipper at the top, so that you can quickly remove or put something in.
The main compartment of the Premium Tech Backpack is very suitable as hand luggage thanks to its smart layout and compact size, allowing you to effortlessly carry clothes, accessories and other travel essentials in one bag. Ideal for a weekend away.
Large laptop compartment
Not only does this backpack have a spacious main compartment for clothing and other accessories. At the back there is a spacious laptop compartment in which you can effortlessly place a 16-inch laptop. This compartment can be closed with a zipper and, in addition to the laptop, also offers space for additional items, such as an iPad.
Lots of storage options
The UAG 24L Premium Tech Backpack features numerous compartments and storage pockets for smaller items such as a power bank, AirPods, keys, wallet, passport, chargers and cables. The variety of internal organization pockets and zipper pockets allow you to store all your tech accessories effortlessly.
At the top of the backpack there is a quick-access and separate storage compartment where you can keep things like your iPhone or passport safe, but easy to reach when you need it. This special microfibre-lined top compartment is therefore ideal for storing glasses.
On the outside there are elastic side pockets that you can close with a zipper, ideal for a drinking bottle or a compact tripod. You can also easily store pens and other small accessories here. In addition, this backpack has a small hidden pocket on the inside where you can hide an AirTag or other valuable small items. Portability and comfort
