Ultraviolette has again made a statement with the X-47 Crossover. The world’s first motorcycle with integrated radar and camera systems not only sets a new standard in drivers safety, but also adds a practical European scoop: an internal on-board loader with which you can simply connect the engine to the familiar type 2 ‘Mennekes’ plug.
Safety from the future
The eye-catcher of the X-47 is the UV HysperSense system, a 77 GHz Radar with a range of up to 200 meters. Together with ultraviolette’s own vehicle control unit, this introduces a fully Advanced Rider Assistance System (ARAS) for motorcycles. Think of blind spot surveillance, lane change assistance, catch-up alerts and warnings for imminent head-tail collisions, complete with visual cues and automatic activating hazard lights.
In addition, there is an integrated dual camera dashcam system, with HDR cameras for and rear, a separate 5-inch touchscreen display and smart functions such as emergency video lock in the event of a fall or collision.
Smart loading, usable worldwide
A second scoop is the internal air -cooled on -board loader, according to ultraviolette the most powerful of its kind. Thanks to the built-in inverter, the X-47 in Europe can be charged without any problems with a type 2 plug, the same standard as with electric cars. With that, the Indians have taken the largest hurdle to break through in Europe after India.
Versatility and performance
The X-47 is designed for both city traffic and long journeys. With an upright ergonomics, abundant torque, nine levels regenerative brakes, three levels of traction control and UV Dynamic Stability Control combines the Crossover Comfort with control. Smart Violette AI functions add fall and drag detection, Remote Lockdown and Anti-collision alerts.
The exact figures are not yet mentioned in the press release, but during the YouTube presentation there was talk of a couple of 610 Nm and a range of more than 300 kilometers. Just like the F77, the X47 has a peak power of 40 hp, but it has been approved for the A1 driving license thanks to the much lower continuous power. Oh yes, the top speed is 145 km/h and that is not at all wrong for an ‘A1 bike’.
From f77 to X-47
Earlier this year, during our double test of the F77 Mach 2 and F77 SU in Dalfsen, we were already pleasantly surprised by the adult driving behavior and the finish of ultraviolette’s first models. With the X-47, the brand persuades that line convincingly-and even goes a big step further.
Premiere on Eicma
The Ultraviolette X-47 Crossover has its world premiere at EICMA in Milan, November 2025 (HAL 7P, Stand U47). Then the European specifications are also announced.
