The brand new Ford Bronco and its smaller brother, the Bronco Sport, will be shown to the general public this year. Reportedly that happens a little earlier than we originally thought.
Ford is reviving the Bronco name this year with two models; the regular Bronco and the Bronco Sport. To date, we have taken into account that we would see the two newcomers at the New York International Auto Show in April at the earliest, but that seems to be getting a bit earlier. According to various media, including Automotive News, Ford has informed a number of dealers about the imminent unveiling of the Bronco. Based on that information, this will already take place in March.
As mentioned, the earliest unveiling moment was first used on April and that still seems to be partly true. The normal Bronco appears in March, the Bronco Sport on the NYIAS in April. Remarkably enough, there is talk of an earlier market introduction of the Bronco Sport. This must be placed with the dealers this year. The larger regular Bronco will follow in 2021. Both cars are a clear retro-reincarnation of the primordial Bronco from the late 60s in terms of appearance, and should make it difficult for the equally classic Jeeps Wrangler and Renegade.
