Apple’s latest smart watches have a number of new features that make an upgrade well worth it. Both the Watch Series 9 and the Ultra 2 have received a new processor on the inside. This S9 chip is about 30 percent faster than its predecessor.
In addition, there is a new U2 chip that ensures even better cooperation between your Watch and other Apple devices. When you get close to your HomePod, useful controls will appear on your screen. For example, immediately start a playlist on Apple Music. Finding your iPhone or AirPods also becomes very easy. In addition to the global location you already see in the Find My app, you can see exactly which direction to go and how many meters you have to go to find your device.
Apple also introduced a new gesture to control your Watch: Double tap. For example, you use it to answer a phone call. You form the gesture by tapping your thumb and index finger together twice. The smartwatch then detects changes in your blood circulation and the wrist movements you make.
