Apple’s latest smart watches have a number of new features that make an upgrade well worth it. Both the Watch Series 9 and the Ultra 2 have received a new processor on the inside. This S9 chip is about 30 percent faster than its predecessor.

In addition, there is a new U2 chip that ensures even better cooperation between your Watch and other Apple devices. When you get close to your HomePod, useful controls will appear on your screen. For example, immediately start a playlist on Apple Music. Finding your iPhone or AirPods also becomes very easy. In addition to the global location you already see in the Find My app, you can see exactly which direction to go and how many meters you have to go to find your device.

Apple also introduced a new gesture to control your Watch: Double tap. For example, you use it to answer a phone call. You form the gesture by tapping your thumb and index finger together twice. The smartwatch then detects changes in your blood circulation and the wrist movements you make.

Sounds good right? Then you still have one choice to make: which color suits you best? With the Watch Series 9, Apple introduces a new color: pink. This comes in addition to the colors we already know from the predecessors: midnight, starlight, silver and red.

Get the most out of your Apple Watch with MultiSIM

The Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 are ideal for athletes. Especially in combination with KPN Multisim, because during your running or cycling lap you simply leave your iPhone at home. The Watch records your sports activity and you control your music while answering incoming calls from your wrist.

Moreover, you always have your navigation at hand. Even if you simply don’t want to have your iPhone with you all the time, the Cellular version with MultiSIM is ideal to have. A WhatsApp message is answered in no time. So you are always reachable, even without a telephone nearby.

Multi-SIM subscription with KPN

With Multisim, your brand new Watch is connected to the SIM card of your KPN subscription. This way you use MBs and calling minutes from the same bundle on your smartwatch as you use on your iPhone. You pay 5 euros extra per month for this connection.

This works using an e-SIM, a digital version of your SIM card. Your data and your KPN bundle will be loaded on it. MultiSIM is only available to KPN Mobiel customers and can be canceled at any time.
