Siri is a useful personal digital assistant, but you may not be completely satisfied with the voice. Fortunately, you can easily adjust the voice of the smart assistant on your iPhone, Mac and Apple Watch. We explain how to do that.
Apple’s smart assistant can do a lot like set reminders and transcribe messages. The assistant is also getting better at performing assignments and answering questions. With frequent use you will hear the voice of the digital assistant throughout the day, but if you don’t like it, you can adjust it.
Change voice of Siri on all your devices
The easiest thing about changing Siri’s voice on your iPhone, Mac, and Apple Watch is that it works pretty much the same on all of them. Good to know is that the voice of the smart assistant is the same on all your devices. So you only have to change the voice once on one of your Apple devices.
Change Siri Voice on iPhone (and iPad)
Adjusting the voice of the Apple assistant works on your iPhone (and your iPad) as follows: open the settings and navigate to Siri and to search. Tap on Siri voice and select the desired voice. Your device plays a sample of the chosen voice as an example. Is the language not set correctly? Then change it first via Language.

This is how you change the voice on your Apple Watch
On your Apple Watch, you can change the voice assistant’s voice by opening the settings and going to Siri to navigate. Scroll down to you Siri voice encounters. If necessary, change the language first to try out other voices.
And so on your Mac or MacBook
Want to change the voice of the smart assistant on your Mac or MacBook? Then click with your mouse or via the touchpad on the Apple icon in the top left corner and open the System settings. Then click Siri and Spotlight. Next Siri–voice you use the button Select to set a voice of your choice.
