Piaggio was founded in Italy in 1884, meaning that this year its 140th anniversary is being celebrated. Reason for celebration and so Piaggio presents a special and unique Vespa, according to the Italians the most exclusive ever in the history of the most famous and beloved scooter in the world.
The Piaggio Style Center has created a model that collectors will have their eyes on, as it will be produced in a limited edition of 140 pieces and will be available for only four days, the same days as the Vespa World Days 2024 which runs from 18 to 21 take place in April. The Vespa 140 or Piaggio is characterized by the blue and light blue color on a white body – the official colors of the Piaggio Group – enriched with classic graphics and the new Vespa monogram logo, as well as the festive “140 years” logo.
The saddle is blue with double tone on tone and contrasting stitching and is characterized by the unmistakable single-seater look. The seat cover is standard on this special version, another nod to the elegantly sporty soul of Vespa. The rims, blue with light blue details, are also unique to this model. Each Vespa will be characterized by a numbered anniversary plaque on the inner shield, which also features the 140-Years logo.
The Vespa 140th from Piaggio can be equipped with a range of very stylish accessories, including a large leather bag with the Vespa logo embossed and supple leather reinforcement on the bottom and on the handles that allow the bag to be attached easily and securely on a rear carrier. Some of the accessories that increase the driving comfort and functionality of the Vespa are front and rear luggage racks, a large windshield and crash bars.
