Vespa brings a special edition to the Netherlands. The new Vespa Primavera Batik, available in 50cc and 125cc versions, is a special edition that combines the elegant lines of the Vespa with the traditional Batik patterns of Indonesian culture.
The new Vespa Primavera Batik brings together two cultural heritages, according to Piaggio: the iconic Vespa style with the deep and authentic multiculturalism of Batik. Batik, a traditional Indonesian fabric recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage, is characterized by its symbolic designs and rich history dating back to the 12th century.
The Vespa Primavera Batik has a striking Batik Green colour as a base, inspired by – in the words of Piaggio – “the waves of tropical beaches.” The decorations are applied using Water Transfer Technology and include seven different Batik motifs from Java, Sumatra and Bali, representing values such as prosperity, strength, wisdom and respect.
The scooter also has a light brown saddle with green stitching, which gives a natural look reminiscent of sunny beaches. In addition, a matching top case is available, which can be customized with Batik stickers, to add extra luggage space and style.
The new Vespa Primavera Batik can be admired from mid-September at all Vespa dealers. The 50cc version is available from € 4,659, for the 125cc you have to put € 5,899 on the table.
