The design of the iPhone 13 is on the street. With a few months to go until the unveiling, we know what the new Apple phones will look like. If the images are correct, little will change in the design.

The usually reliable website MacRumors received dummy models of the new iPhone from an anonymous source. These kinds of show models are used by accessory makers to already produce covers for the new phones. MacRumors has dummies of all expected new devices: iPhone 13, 13 mini, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max.
Anyone who longs for a new iPhone design will come home from a cold fair. The design of the new devices is almost identical to the current models. Only the placement of the cameras on the successors of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini is different. The lenses on the iPhone 13 and 13 mini are angled from each other, instead of straight.

Also notable is the addition of sensor shift on all iPhone 13 models. This feature ensures less jerky photos by stabilizing the camera sensor. Currently, only the largest and most expensive Apple phone, the iPhone 12 Pro Max, has this feature.

Furthermore, the dummy models show a slightly smaller notch. According to MacRumors, the screen notch is getting smaller because Apple has moved the microphone to the edge above the display. It doesn’t look like the notch is getting significantly narrower or thinner.
Do you currently have an iPhone 12 Pro and want to upgrade later this year? Then you also have to buy a new protective cover. According to MacRumors, the “camera hill” of the iPhone 13 Pro is a lot bigger compared to the 12 Pro. Because the cameras protrude more, cases would no longer fit.
On to September
We expect Apple to unveil the new iPhones in September. Some sources claim that this year’s main Apple presentation will take place on September 14. The devices would then be in stores from the end of September. We will probably have to deal with long delivery times – after all, that is the case every year.
