With flexible loading platform
The Vietnamese Vinfast is interested in a fully electric pick-up. During the CES in Las Vegas, the brand presents the VF Wild: a preview of an electric pick-up with which it seems to mainly focus on the American car market.
Vinfast has the electric VF6, VF7, VF8 and VF9 ready for Dutch and European consumers. All of them are EVs and all of them are crossovers or SUVs. Last year, Vinfast previewed a compact electric car from the brand with this VF3 and now the Vietnamese are sending a new preview to the world. This is the Vinfast VF Wild.
Vinfast appears to be relatively modest and describes the VF Wild as a study model that “[…] is the brand’s first attempt at a pick-up. The VF Wild is 5.32 meters long and 2 meters wide. This makes it a good size smaller than cars such as the electric Ford F-150 Lightning, which spans a distance of almost 6 meters. The VF Wild is clearly recognizable as Vinfast. The pick-up has an electrically foldable partition that should extend the length of the loading platform from 1.52 meters to 2.44 meters. This will of course at the expense of space in the cabin, as the tailgate must also be folded down.
It is not yet known when the Vinfast VF Wild will go into production.
