Violence can change generation to generation

Stress has consequences for our health and can make us physically and mentally ill. Researchers have now investigated whether the consequences of the generation triggered by violence experiences are also inherited to subsequent generations. For this, the team analyzed the epigenetic attachments at the DNA of Syrian refugees from three generations.
