VOGE, the Chinese premium motorcycle giant with an annual production of 25 million motorcycles, is increasingly turning its attention to Europe. At the end of last month at the EICMA in Milan, the 500AC was presented, the second member of the idiosyncratic Advanced Classic family.
It is certainly quirky, the 500AC presented as the big brother of the 300AC and powered by the same 471cc parallel twin that serves in the 500R Naked and 500DS Allroad and has its origins in the Honda 500 platform.
That parent company Loncin Holdings, Ltd. If you want to present VOGE as a premium motorcycle brand, this 500AC is also easy to read. KYB is responsible for the suspension, while Nissin is also called upon for the brakes.
What else do we know about the 500AC? That around the 17″ alloy wheels tires in sizes 120/70 at the front and 160/60 at the rear are fitted, that it has a dry weight of 185 kilos and a tank capacity of 19 liters, with which you should be able to get over 400 kilometers away.
The 500AC will be available at the dealer this year for the price tag of €7,399. At our southern neighbors only € 6,399 needs to be put on the table.
