Two-tone luxury horse
We consider the chance that you are short of pampering in the Volvo EX90 to be quite small. In this brand new top version, even those who are used to the very best will probably not be short of anything. This is the Volvo EX90 Excellence.
For the time being, the Volvo EX90 can only be ordered as a fairly luxurious Ultra and as a Performance Ultra. But it can always be better, it turns out. Just like the predecessor Volvo XC90 – which will be fed alongside the EX90 at least temporarily – the EX90 will get a luxurious top version that listens to the name ‘Excellence’.
From the outside you can recognize the EX90 Excellence by its two-tone color scheme and special light metal with a diameter of no less than 22 inches. In the Volvo EX90 Excellence you have more than a pleasant feeling in the front, but it is especially in the back where you should be if you like to be pampered. The EX90 Excellence does not have a third row of seats in the back. Instead, the new top taste has two rows of seats with the rear consisting of two separate seats, complete with cushions. Between the seats is a small fridge where you can store your champagne bottle, but of course also fits a bottle of Spa Blauw for those who also need to quench their thirst on the road with Spa Blauw.
Between the rear seats we find a console with a nice-looking wooden platform in which the buttons can be found to control things like the seat heating and with which you can choose from one of the five positions of the furniture’s massage function. But there’s more. On the same plateau, Volvo mounts an Orrefors crystal that functions as an air freshener. The ornament is capable of sending up to three different odors into the EX90 atmosphere. Premium Ambi Pur. You won’t find leather in the top EX90, by the way. Instead, you sit on wool or a material called Nordico, which is made from textiles and recycled PET bottles, among other things.
Volvo has presented the EX90 Excellence in China and the special top version will therefore be the first on the market in China. With this version, the brand says it wants to meet the demand for highly positioned cars in which you are driven.
