Geely – Volvo’s parent company – has many brands in its portfolio and is bringing more and more of them to Europe. This time it is Farizon that makes the crossing to our continent.

The gigantic Geely has a brand portfolio that includes Volvo and Polestar, but also Smart, Lotus and Lynk & Co are part of the gigantic Chinese group. In addition, Geely is the parent company of LEVC, Geometry, Radar and Zeekr. Zeekr is coming to Europe in 2023, but there is another brand that Geely is bringing to our continent: Farizon.

Farizon FX

This peculiar FX is Farizon’s only passenger car.

Unlike the brands mentioned above, Farizon is not a brand that mainly sells passenger cars. Founded in 2016, Farizon Auto focuses entirely on commercial vehicles. Farizon sells small trucks and light commercial vehicles, including the electric E5, E6 and Xingxiang V. While Farizon sells a curious mix of SUV and pickup with the FX, Farizon’s sole passenger car isn’t the model coming to Europe.

Automotive News reports based on statements by Farizon CEO Fan Xianjun that Farizon will bring an electric van to the market in Europe around 2024, called ‘Super Van’. Farizon hopes to become one of the largest suppliers of electric vans in Europe with the Super Van. According to CEO Fan Xianjun, the Super Van is tailored to the needs of European customers. According to the CEO, the Super Van will first be launched on the European market as an EV, later Farizon will add the option of changing batteries. In time, a variant with a hybrid powertrain should also appear.

As early as March, AutoWeek surfaced patent drawings of a series of new electric delivery vans registered in Geely’s name. It is quite possible that those patent plates already showed Farizon’s Super Van order series.
