Ziggo users can easily watch TV anywhere and anytime on their smartphone and tablet. Even without an internet connection. How does that work exactly?
App Ziggo GO
For internet users of Ziggo, the Ziggo GO app is especially for android– and iPhonedevices were created. Depending on your subscription, you can watch live television on your smartphone or tablet to more than 80 channels. Or look back up to seven days of programs and download fun movies or series to watch at a later time without an internet connection. For example, you can continue to enjoy your favorite series on the plane.
Watch live television
- Open the Ziggo Go app.
- At the bottom (iOS) tap TV & Replay or tap the three underscores and then TV & Replay (Android).
- An overview of live TV programs appears. Tap a channel to watch it.
Watch television program back
- Tap on TV & Replay > TV & Replay (iOS) or three hyphens >TV & Replay > TV & Replay (Android).
- Tap on Today and choose the date or day you want to look back.
- Tap the program you want to watch.
- Tap on Look.
Program search
Want to watch a program of which you do not remember the broadcast date?
- Tap at the top right of the magnifying glass.
- Tap in the search bar.
- Type a program title, for example “Expedition Robinson” or a keyword.
- Tap the found program.
- Tap on Look.
Looking back from the beginning
If you want to watch a program from the beginning while watching live TV, this is very easy.
- Watch a live TV program.
- Tap the screen.
- Tap the triangle with the counterclockwise circular arrow.
- Back to live broadcast? Tap the screen > Tap the live icon with the circular arrow.
Watching movies or series
- Tap at the bottom Movies & Series (iOS) or the three hyphens and then Movies & Series (Android).
- Choose at the top for Movies (movies) or Series.
- Tap on Show all to view the available titles.
- Tap the movie or series you want to watch.
- Optionally tap the episode you want to see.
- Tap on Look if the movie or series doesn’t start right away.
Put titles on watch list
- Tap the title of a movie or episode you want to save.
- Optionally, tap the button with the three dots (iOS).
- Tap on Watchlist.
- The title is now in the list of saved movies and series. Tap at the bottom Saved > Watchlist (iOS) or the three hyphens and then Saved >Watchlist (Android).
- Tap the name of the saved movie or series to watch it.
- If necessary, tap again Look.
To download
You can watch a movie that has been downloaded at a later time without an internet connection.
- Tap on To download to see which items you can also watch offline.
- Tap the title of a movie or episode you want to watch offline.
- Tap the down arrow button with a line below it (iOS) or tap the three dots and then tap Download. The movie or series is now in the download list.
- To watch the saved movie or series without internet, tap at the bottom Saved > Downloads.
- Tap the movie or episode.
Turn on subtitles
- Briefly tap the broadcast while watching.
- Several options will appear at the top. Tap the speech bubble.
- Under ‘Sound & Subtitles’, tap Dutch.
- Tap on Ready (iOS) or Agree (Android) to turn on the subtitles.
Using multiple apps at once
Continue to watch TV while also using other apps, such as Facebook. Do this by minimizing the screen.
- Briefly tap the broadcast while watching.
- Several options will appear at the top. Tap the icon with two overlapping rectangles.
- The image minimizes. If you close the app now, the video will remain minimized.
- Drag the video to a different spot on the screen if you want.
- To make the image fill the screen again, tap the minimized image then the two overlapping rectangles.
adjust TV guide
By default, all channels are in the TV guide. These are also channels that you may not be able to watch because you are not subscribed to them. Adjust the TV guide so that you only see the channels from your subscription.
- Tap on TV & Replay > TV & Replay (iOS) or three hyphens >TV & Replay > TV & Replay (Android).
- Above the time slots, tap the slider.
- Tap the slider behind Show only the channels I can watch (iOS) or Only Ziggo Go channels (Android).
