In addition to the iPhone, the Apple Watch has also received an update. But what’s different in watchOS 11.1 and are there any new features?
watchOS 11.1: this is new in the update for your Apple Watch
The iPhone has been updated to iOS 18.1. And just like always, the Apple Watch also has an update. But what’s new in watchOS 11.1 for the Apple Watch? Are there any new functions? Or are only errors addressed?
We can actually be very brief about it: this time the update mainly consists of problem solutions. However, that doesn’t make it any less important to install this update. These updates often resolve problems that malicious parties exploit. In any case, the description of the update states that an issue with Healthkit is being resolved.
The new update for your Apple Watch is available for every Apple Watch with watchOS 11. You can find the software update in the Watch app on your iPhone.
To update your Apple Watch, go to ‘General > Software Update’ to install watchOS 11.1. By tapping ‘Download & Install’ and entering your passcode, the update will automatically be applied to your Apple Watch. You must then place the Apple Watch on the charger and it must be at least 50 percent charged.
