New dials in Watchos 26
Apple has drastically expanded the range of dials in recent years, but this year this is not yet the case. Apple has not yet added brand new dials, maybe they will wait until the announcement of new Apple Watch models later this year. Perhaps these dials are exclusively for the new models.
Liquid Glass for Photos Guide Plate
Watchos 26 brings a new interface to the Apple Watch, the Liquid Glass design is especially visible with buttons, the control panel and the smart stack with widgets. The dials, on the other hand, have hardly been adapted for the new interface, except for the photos-guide plate. For this popular dial you can now also choose Liquid Glass figures so that the photo can be seen better.
Dials updated for series 10
The new always on display of the Apple Watch Series 10 refreshes the screen every second, so that the second hand and running timers always remain visible. Even when the screen is not active. With Watchos 26, Apple has updated more dials so that they also show the seconds (wiser) on this standby screen. This makes the time display look much more realistic.
Dialing Gallery Renewed
Discovering new dials is now even easier thanks to the renewed gallery On Apple Watch and the Watch app on iPhone, where dials are grouped in collections. This way you will find a suitable dial faster, without having to scroll endlessly.
Five dials removed
Unfortunately, Watchos 26 also said goodbye to five dials. From now on it is no longer possible to use the Toy Story, Fire and Water, Liquid Metal, Nevel and Expenditure.
