Instagram has rolled out a major update that changes the way you can post photos, and here’s why we’re excited iPhoned very happy about it.
New Instagram feature
Instagram is probably the most popular social network of the moment. Young and old use it, there is no controversial figure at the helm, and new features are constantly being added. Like now again, because Instagram has added new possibilities for posting photos.
Have you always wanted to share more photos at once? Well, Instagram has heard your wish. Because now it is possible to share 20 photos at once. Previously, you could ‘only’ upload 10 photos. This feature is now being rolled out gradually and will soon be available to everyone.
This is how it works
Posting twenty photos at once works exactly as you’d expect. Start a new Instagram post via the Plus icon and simply select the photos and videos you want. Unlike previous versions, you can now select more than 10 items at once.
Now we can join iPhoned imagine that you don’t want to share so many photos at once on a regular basis, but at the moment monthly summaries (so-called recaps or photo dumps) quite popular. Here you share a selection of your photos from the past month. And sometimes it’s a shame that you could only choose ten of your favorites.
By the way, Instagram’s major competitor TikTok now allows you to share 35 photos at once.
More function for photos
Meta, the parent company of Instagram, but also Facebook and WhatsApp, is busy making its apps even better (and more popular). In addition to increasing the photo limit on Instagram, the company is also working on an AirDrop function for WhatsApp. This should also make it easier to share photos – although this is mainly intended for private sharing with friends and family.
