Samsung unveiled its brand new foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, this week. This means that the foldable smartphone from South Korea is now in its fourth generation. Is it time for Apple to come up with a foldable iPhone?
As far as I’m concerned, it’s very interesting to see how Apple would go about it, but how do you look at that? Time for a new one Weekend Poll.
Time for a foldable iPhone?
Good. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, so. Personally, I’m a fan of the concept and certainly of the way Samsung approaches it, especially this generation. Although I understand very well that there is a very large group of people who all but understand the idea. To be fair: the price tag of €1799 does not really invite consumers to give the new Fold a chance.
Although I do believe that such smartphones are the future. The popularity is growing, but I don’t expect big steps until Apple comes along. Not because the company necessarily does it better. Well, because the past has taught us that it can get products more attention.
So this week my question to you is: is it time for a foldable iPhone yet? Let us know in the poll below!
Don’t forget to substantiate your answer in the comments.
Is your smartphone ready for an upgrade?
We’re only a few weeks away from the unveiling of the new iPhone 14. As far as we’re concerned, this is the perfect opportunity to ask our readers if it’s time for an upgrade yet. We did that in the Weekend Poll from last week.
On the question Are you going to buy the new iPhone 14? came a clear answer. Of the 1,225 people who completed the poll, 704 people (57.47 percent) said they couldn’t wait for the smartphone. As far as they are concerned, the purchase in September is already certain. Only 181 people (14.77% percent) said they wanted to wait a year and 304 people (27.76 percent) are not yet planning to take the step at all. The current smartphone is still good enough.
“I’m still up to date with my iPhone 11”, says user q-collective know. “The battery is almost due for replacement. So fine, new battery and another three years.” Something that also applies to mrwhoopiewho is still unsure whether to replace the battery. “Giving my lock code to the Apple Store to replace the battery is a NO Go.”
Curious what the result of the Weekend Poll of this week? You’ll find it next week in the new Weekend Poll.
