Far out
(Image: Apple)
It’s finally here: Apple has announced the iPhone 14 event. At least, that’s what we assume. The name of the September 7 event is Far Out. But what does that actually mean?
As far as we are concerned, the ideal question for the Weekend Poll of this week!
Apple announces iPhone 14 during ‘Far Out’
On Wednesday, September 7, 2022, we will finally get the answers we’ve been waiting for. During the Far Out-event, we finally know what the new iPhone 14 has in store for us.
In the corridors we have of course heard a lot about smartphones in the past year. For example, we are sure that the mini will disappear and the Max will take its place. But there is logically more. It is also expected that the camera system of the flagship can get a nice upgrade.
Is that a functionality specified by the name of the upcoming event Far Out is confirmed? That’s the question I love to ask you in the brand new Weekend Poll. This time there is also a possibility to fill in an answer yourself, so feel free to do that too!
If you would like to provide additional information about your answer, the comments are always open to you.
Which products will we see?
For the Weekend Poll from last week we asked our readers about the products of September 7th. Although the date for the Far Outevent wasn’t announced yet, we already had a strong idea that the iPhone 14 would be released on that date. But what more did you expect from this special event?
There are 219 people who have answered that question and the answer was clear. The Apple Watch Series 8 is the most expected, with 83 votes (37.9 percent). In addition, 33 people (15.07 percent) expect the AirPods Pro2, 27 people (12.33 percent) the Apple Watch Pro, and 25 people (11.42%) expect new Macs. A new standard iPad is expected by 18 people (8.22 percent), a new HomePod (mini) by 15 people (6.85 percent) and the M2 iPad Pro by 14 people (6.39 percent).
Of all the products you expect on September 7, the AirPods Max 2, with 4 votes (1.82 percent), gets the least approval.
