Apple has released a new firmware update for the AirPods Pro 2nd generation (with Lightning or USB-C charging case) and AirPods 4. The new version number is 7A305 and contains bug fixes and new AirPods features that can be used from iOS 18.

On the Apple website you can read in a support document (Dutch) which improvements and solutions Apple has made and/or whether new options have been added. The AirPods are automatically provided with the new firmware, but updating manually is unfortunately a difficult job.
