what is the longest Dutch word?

Asker: Hermione, 12 years old

Answer

According to the Taalwinkel, the longest Dutch word in the Van Dale is “sand soap soda mineral water stone rays” (37 letters).
This question has been asked and answered many times on the internet and then you will often find very long words among the answers, sometimes with more than 100 letters. That’s because you can very easily come up with compounds in Dutch, so you can combine (existing) words to get a certain meaning.
