There is a big update for WhatsApp with many new functions. Some of these functions are already available, but you might have to wait a little longer for a few. They then come up with a coming update.
Group chats show number of users online (and fewer notifications)
For example, Groepchats will get a new option that will see how many users have opened the group conversation at a certain moment. Under the group title will then appear how many members are online in total, you will see, for example, ‘5 online’.
When you are in several group chats, you will soon receive many notifications from all the messages sent. In WhatsApp you can also set up, among other things, that you only get notifications of stored contacts.
Organizing events and parties becomes easier
WhatsApp also makes organizing parties, a night out or planning events easier with a few new functions. You can then not only plan events in group discussions, but also in a private conversation.
Do you not yet know if you can come? Then there is also the option to respond with ‘maybe’. In addition, you can also indicate, among other things, that an introducer is welcome and more.
Respond more easily
Sometimes someone responds to a message and says exactly what you agree with. From now on you can tap the reaction to indicate that.
VideoBellen gets better
WhatsApp has made video cells better. For example, a better connection ensures that conversations are less likely to be broken down or loss. Thanks to a new system under the hood, WhatsApp more often takes a better connecting route. Your internet speed will also be recognized faster, so that the video quality is raised more easily to HD as soon as you can handle that.
New WhatsApp function especially for the iPhone
For the iPhone, WhatsApp comes with a few exclusive new functions. This way you can zoom in during video calling by making a squeeze movement. Also handy: you will soon scan documents directly from the appendix menu. And WhatsApp can be set if your standard app for bubbles and messages on your iPhone.
More functions for managers and sharing channels
WhatsApp also introduces additional functions for channels managers. You can then record and share short videos (of a maximum of 60 seconds). Also handy: you can now request a QR code for each channel, making sharing a lot easier. In addition, WhatsApp will soon be able to automatic transcripts of speech messages.
WhatsApp update will be rolled out in the near future
Most of these new functions for WhatsApp are available in the latest version of the app. The update and a few of the features will not be available to everyone yet, so you may have to wait a few days (up to a few weeks).
